The FordLemon ARCHIVES
THIS SHOULD BE THE NEW FORD LOGO!

On the occasion of our third anniversary of our web site being online
the FordLemon’s crew has decided to address the conclusions that
we and other people have come to showing Ford Motor Company in its true light.
A vicious psychopathic corporation!
In our research we have discovered much information that exemplifies and epitomizes
this evil mega corporation and its business practices through out their entire history
from its inception in the early 1900’s.
The foundation of their endeavors is based on one principle and only one principle: money and greed.
This is substantiated by all information on our web site.
Please be advised that the above dissertations are based on individuals from the public that gave their comments freely.

Cracking Intake Manifolds UPDATE!
Here’s some information that we received from a concerned citizen. It seems that Ford Motor Company Agreed to a Court approved settlement regarding Cracking Intake Manifolds.
It looks like Ford won’t have to pay if people don’t know about it…… (see how crooked they are….)

There is a 90 days time frame to go to a dealer and get a refund for the repairs. The problem is that the dealers are telling the customers to wait for the official letter which Ford Motor Co is not sending out. (see how dealerships are guilty by association….)

The clock started December 16, 2005.
There’s a potential loss of 450 Million dollars for Ford if all concerned owners of Ford vehicle affected by the Cracking intake manifold get their claim in as soon as possible.

Again Ford Motor Company misrepresenting horrendous situations…

Ford free engine repairs not extended to Canada, says Lemon-Aid author

Toronto, Ontario – While 1.8 million Ford owners in the U.S. will receive free engine intake manifold repairs announced December 16, the offer will not be extended to Canadian owners, says Phil Edmonston, consumer advocate and author of Lemon-Aid Car Guide.

"Ford USA will pay about $100 million US to American owners who will get $735 US each and a seven-year retroactive warranty with unlimited mileage in their Christmas stocking," Edmonston says. "Canadians get a lump of coal."

For over a decade, Lemon-Aid has chided Ford for stonewalling engine intake manifold complaints and hiding the existence of a "secret warranty" slush fund. Edmonston wants the Canadian automaker to give Canadians an equal amount of compensation and to extend the reimbursement period until December 31, 2006.

Vehicles affected in the American settlement use the 4.6-litre V8 engine and include 1996-2001 Ford Crown Victoria, Mercury Grand Marquis and Lincoln Town Car; 1997 Mercury Cougar, Ford Thunderbird and Ford Mustang; some Mustangs from 1998 to 2001; and some Ford Explorers from 2002.

Ford has to deal with another scandal.

Ford ads will run in gay media...
Automaker says its decision to drop Jaguar and Land Rover ads had been misperceived.

Click here to read the latest article regarding gay ads.

If one looks for the company which has done the most to affirm and promote the homosexual lifestyle,
he would be hard-pressed to find a company which has done more than Ford Motor Company…
While this is hardly known to the general population, it is well known by numerous homosexual organizations.
In fact, the Human Rights Campaign (a national homosexual organization whose goal is homosexual marriage)
gave Ford a 100% corporate rating. Ford makes not only Ford, but also Lincoln, Mercury, Mazda, Volvo, Jaguar, and Land Rover.
From redefining family to include homosexual marriage,
to giving hundreds of thousands of dollars to support homosexual groups and their agenda,
to forcing managers to attend diversity training on how to promote the acceptance of homosexuality,
to sponsoring a “commitment (marriage) ceremony”, to sponsoring Gay Pride Parades, Ford leads the way.
The goal of every homosexual organization supported by Ford is to get homosexual marriage legalized.
The information below provides just a glimpse of how broad Ford’s support for the homosexual movement is.
Ford believes the effort to legalize homosexual marriage by the Gay and Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation (GLAAD)
is so important that the company is giving GLAAD up to $1,000 for every Jaguar or Land Rover (both Ford products)
purchased this year. GLAAD is one of the nation's largest homosexual groups promoting homosexual marriage.
Ford's donations will help GLAAD in their efforts.
Ford's donations are not confined only to GLAAD. For years, Volvo has donated $500 to the Human Rights Campaign
when a vehicle is purchased or leased. The fine copy at the bottom of the ad tells the reader about Volvo's donations to
the Human Rights Campaign.
Ford defines "family" to include homosexual and lesbian couples. In the 2005 Gay Pride Day in Ferndale, Michigan,
Ford sponsored the "family area". On the website, the heading reads "The Family Area is Generously Sponsored by Ford."
The Ford logo and name are included on the page. The Ford Motor Company Fund is funded by Ford Motor Company.
Ford is promoting a new definition of family as being "people with modern values."
Thomas Anderson, executive vice-president of Volvo Cars North America (a division of Ford Motor Company),
said of their effort to target homosexuals and lesbians: "For us, it was very natural to address gay families.
We're targeting people with modern day values. (euh!?!?!??!!) It's a value set and the Volvo-minded consumer is very diverse.
'Family' is much more than the traditional family."

Ford gave more than $5000 to help sponsor the 2004 Motor City Pride Weekend. They will again help sponsor the event.
This year it will include—among other things—a homosexual “commitment (marriage) ceremony”.
Ford supports homosexual publications with ads, including sexually oriented ads. Ford's support for the homosexual movement
isn't limited to the U.S., but is international.

Ford was the main sponsor of the London Mardi Gras event.
Ford Motor executive praises the company’s support for the homosexual community. Ian McAllister, CBE, chairman and managing director,
Ford Motor Company Limited, had this to say about Ford’s support for the homosexual community.
“Ford has been supporting gay, lesbian and transgender events and charities for many years, and this year,
Ford will be a main sponsor of the London Mardi Gras. We believe at Ford in helping a global society that is more open and tolerant,
and one that values diversity. Our presence at the Mardi Gras underlines that philosophy.”
Ford donates hundreds of thousands of dollars to homosexual groups to push the homosexual agenda.
While it is nearly impossible to find the most recent gifts to homosexual groups,
Corporate Patterns reports that at least since 1999 the company has been donating hundreds of thousands of dollars to homosexual groups.
In 1999, Ford gave $200,000 to the National Gay and Lesbian Task Force
and $100,000 to the International Gay and Lesbian Human Rights Campaign.
Ford refused to give information on how much money they have given to homosexual groups in the past two years.
Unlike many corporations which give most of their donations to local groups to support projects in their local communities,
Ford gives an inordinate amount to national liberal social causes.

A boycott of the Ford Motor Company was on a few days ago but it has been suspended by the American Family Association (AFA),
after a meeting with auto dealers revealed the dealers want time to see if the concerns raised by AFA in their boycott announcement
could be addressed by the dealers in cooperation with officials from Ford Motor Company.
The reason for the boycott: “From redefining family to include homosexual marriage, to giving hundreds of thousands of dollars
to support homosexual groups and their agenda, to forcing managers to attend diversity training on how to promote the acceptance
of homosexuality, to sponsoring a ‘commitment (marriage) ceremony,’ to sponsoring Gay Pride Parades, Ford leads the way.”

Here’s an excerpt from a “loyal” Ford customer who posted this comment on the blueovalnews forum…

”I have bought over the past 27 years over 30 new fords for my family and
being a God fearing man and discovering the Following
I will not buy from ford again.

The above Cars and Trucks do not include over 2000 heavy duty Fords
we bought when Ford owned the Heavy Duty Truck (KTP)
before selling to the Benz Company.

My Old Company Name I will not say because they still haul for Ford.

Yes I signed the Boycott.

How far can you spin Mr. Ford? It’s already in Junk Bond Market.
How many good Americans do you want to put out of work?
I can Tell you one thing you have not a Clue on running a company like Ford.

I will not have 1 more Dime of my money go to Ford.

Thank God I bought extra warranty with my car or I would dump them today.

I am sorry Ford employee's for what all of you are going to have to
put up with.

Sorry Canby Ford you guys are great people but you know me.

I love my Lord with all my heart and Homosexuality is something I will not send my money on.

God Made Adam and Eve Not Adam and Steve

I am sorry But I am not a happy man With MR FORD....”

The general public may have different opinions about all this.

As everybody knows the opinion of the new Pope regarding homosexuality no wonder why the Pope Mobil was and will never be a Ford…

The FordLemon’s crew has an opinion on this…
We feel that there’s a lack of transparency from Ford (as usual nothing new…)
We see a little bit of discrimination, weird family values, and inappropriate advertisements.
Where does the money comes from to “finance” all this?
Does this add to the cost of vehicles to cover the expenses and is their a credit based on charity that Ford writes off?
Do the heterosexual people have to absorb the extra cost when they are buying a Ford vehicle? If so, why should they?
If it’s up to Bill Ford Jr he will sell anybody and everybody following his rule which is bottom line first, damn the public.

And more...

Ever since the article written about Ford by Doron Levin of Bloomberg news showing the Ford executive in complete disarray. We have noticed a slew of advertising on television and radio costing many millions of dollars starring its inept CEO who is trying to atone publicly for all his underhanded misdeeds, lying and trying to manipulate and hoodwink the public by false claims of “ifs”, “buts”, “maybes” and “whens”. He is still living in a wonder land of Technicolor. False hoods catch up sooner or later. There are too many gaping holes in the Ford ship to be patched up with continuous lies and false projections, in the past and present. New lies lend themselves to new other lies exponentially. Do not buy Ford products. Caviat emptor. Let the buyers beware. Protect your health, wealth and life.

Continue to view our homepage. We can assure you that all the money spent on this advertising will not help a disastrous situation. It is a story of “How to take a successful corporation to ruin in a short space of time”.

New movie starring Mr. Bill Ford Jr.

90 000 000 million dollars advertising campaign. What a laugh!?!?!?! Here is an inept individual who has proven a real dud. This is a waste of time and money. He has lost all his credibility with the public and its customers. This individual should be the first one to resign. As long as he remains CEO, Ford will continue to slip no matter what type of BS he is trying to feed the public.

In memoriam:

Ford resignation:

1- Maryann Wright, Head of hybrid technology
2- Phil Mentens
3- Matt De Mars
4- Jacques “Jack the knife” Nasser chosen by Bill Ford Jr.
5- Allan Batty
6- Nick Scheele
7- Allan Gilmour
8- Chris Theodore
9- John Coletti
10- Martin Leach

It looks like all the rats are leaving the sinking ship…
and there are many more to come…

Bill Ford Enters Fifth Year Searching for Leaders: Doron Levin
Nov. 8 (Bloomberg) -- Here's the kind of surprise Bill Ford Jr. has had in abundance of late: On Oct. 28, Mary Ann Wright, head of Ford Motor Co.'s hybrid-technology vehicle program, resigned from the carmaker.
Just a month earlier Ford announced plans to increase hybrid production 10-fold by 2010. Ford said Wright, 43, was quitting for ``personal reasons'' and that her exit was amicable.
Even if you buy that, her departure comes at an inopportune time, just as Bill Ford, chief executive officer, begins starring in a $90 million series of advertisements, some of them highlighting hybrids.
In the four years since Bill Ford took over as CEO of the No. 2 U.S. automaker, the Dearborn, Michigan-based company has been beset by executive hiring, firing, resigning, reassigning and headhunting.
In one of the more baffling moves, the automaker on Nov. 4 announced the appointment of Steve Hamp, 57, Bill Ford's brother-in-law and a museum executive with no corporate or automotive experience, as a vice president and chief of staff. Hamp will assist Bill Ford with day-to-day duties, including personnel issues affecting senior leaders.
Family Feuds
Bill Ford may be counting on Hamp to help him identify the Ford executives who can revive the automaker -- as opposed to those waging combat against rivals for the next promotion.
Bill Ford, who also is chairman, is the one who chose Jacques Nasser as chief executive in 1999 and fired him in October 2001. Bill Ford then took the additional title of CEO.
Nasser, in his short tenure and with Bill Ford's blessing, purged Ford's ranks of several senior executives to make way for his own team, many of whom had no automotive experience. Almost all of Nasser's hires now are gone.
Since Nasser's departure Bill Ford has been shuffling top executives, trying to determine whom to put in top positions from inside or outside the company. His family controls 40 percent of the company's voting rights through a special class of stock.
At times Ford has seemed weary of his job, frustrated and eager to find a replacement. He's tried unsuccessfully to recruit two automotive stars: DaimlerChrysler AG CEO-designate Dieter Zetsche and Renault SA Chief Executive Carlos Ghosn.
Upset at the Top
Ford is a company in turmoil these days, aggravated by the comings and goings of top executives. Ford has been losing market share and its profitability has been spotty. In response to declining sales in the U.S., Ford must consider shutting as many as four North American assembly plants, according to the head of the Canadian Auto Workers union.
And because of poor operating results, Ford has had to chop 2,750 of its 35,000 salaried positions in North America this year. That means the grinding work of a turnaround, as well as managing the challenge of stepping up hybrid production, must be done by fewer hands.
Beyond the financial and operating pressures are the inevitable corporate politics and fragile executive egos, exacerbated by the scramble to grab high-level jobs and ascend the Ford hierarchy.
Out the Door
On Oct. 10, Phil Martens, 45, who once was described by Bill Ford as a candidate to succeed him as CEO, resigned as group vice president in charge of worldwide vehicle development. Resigning the same day was Matt DeMars, 49, vice president of manufacturing.
Oscar Suris, a Ford spokesman, said Ford had ``received correspondence of their intention to leave,'' which apparently was voluntary.
Martens's decision followed on the heels of the promotion of Mark Fields, 44, to executive vice president in charge of the money-losing North American operations.
Martens hasn't said publicly why he quit. Perhaps encouraged by Bill Ford's earlier endorsement, he decided that Fields's promotion should have been his.
On Oct. 20, Bill Ford spoke to investors and reporters on a conference call announcing the automaker's third-quarter net loss of $284 million, its first quarterly loss in almost two years amid declining sales of its Explorer and Expedition sport- utility vehicles.
In the course of the discussion, Bill Ford said the company's two top North American executives, Fields and newly promoted chief operating officer, Anne Stevens, 56, were reviewing plants and production plans.
Bill Ford's failure to mention Jim Padilla, chief operating officer and Ford's second in command, may have been inadvertent. But because of the frequent personnel moves and the constant intrigue, investors, employees and those who watch Ford management now might wonder if they were hearing hints of the next management shuffle.
Judging Talent
Bill Ford's difficulties as a judge of executive talent began with Nasser. His subsequent inability to forge a stable leadership team since has haunted the automaker.
Joe Laymon, Ford group vice president of employee relations, said in a statement Friday that when talented people leave ``it is our responsibility to have a strong and deep bench, from which we can replace them with equally talented people. Ford absolutely has that talent within the company right now.''
A few hours later the company announced Hamp's appointment in a press release that gave his wife's name but omitted the fact that she is Bill Ford's sister.
Families that are heirs to great industrial empires often struggle over whom to hire, whom to trust and how much authority to surrender.
Things needn't turn out badly. A Japanese family named Toyoda, which changed one letter in its name when adapting it as a brand for its cars, is a case in point.

October the 25th 2005:
Hypocrisy from Bill Ford Jr.

What hypocrisy from Bill Ford Jr. as seen on CNN. He is grasping at any and all solutions to keep Ford afloat. It looks like too late and too little. His rhetoric is a camouflage to hide short comings that were never addressed or deliberately ignored. This has built up dissatisfaction with most of his customers resulting in tremendous loss of sales. The old adage holds true “You can fool some of the people some of the time but not all the people all of the time”. This reaches to a point of no return. His presence on CNN and through other media shows his hypocrisy and conspiracy and he has run out of fingers to point to. Now he has gone to the lower and middle echelons completely disregarding the back bone of a once viable corporation that is being sacrificed to try and justify his ways and errors in the past and in the present. Imagine! Ford and his hierarchy lowering their esteem by calling on their employees for solutions. Many suggestions had come forward only to be rebuffed and dismissed which created disdain and discord among these groups. How do you run a company by rejecting useful resourceful suggestions in order to enhance the ego and egos of these totalitarian old buddy types of executives at any cost?

The FordLemon’s crew foresaw this situation and has warned on fordlemon.com the coming disasters at Ford but to no avail. Our predictions of a continuous slide kept occurring. The pity of this situation is the loss of income and livelihood of an enormous amount of loyal employees to cover mistakes and to justify top bad management under any justifications…..

The only thing that can be hoped in the future is as before….. A bunch of maybes, ifs, buts and whens…..

Ford’s new hatchet man and autocrat: Jim Padilla!

Jim Padilla is now in charge of downsizing and closing down various Ford plants because of large cash flow shortages. He is also cutting down indiscriminately at the expense of irreplaceable valued employees of many years and endangering local economies like closing manufacturing plants. Bill Ford Jr, inept in being CEO for the last 4 years has worsened Ford’s position to the extent of moving it to the break of non existence. To protect himself he has moved his responsibility to Padilla which is “deja-vue” like with Jacques Nasser using him as a shield because of the poor press against him personally. Bill Ford Jr has shown himself to be a weak inept top executive with his following qualities.

A- Deluded as to his self importance.
B- Silver spoon individual.
C- Using “yes men” in his tenure as CEO.
D- Hasn’t none or little foresight.
E- Neglected duties as CEO.
F- Listened to only what he wanted to hear.
G- No honest opinion.
H- Knowingly lied in serious situations involving injuries, deaths, sickness, etc…

His decisions to put in charge Jim Padilla a ruthless autocrat as CEO with unlimited power to stabilize his “Padilla power rule”.

Ford has used their famous musical chairs scenario. Their world wide executives hierarchy i.e. executives replacements, transfers worldwide of present personnel from other areas with sub categories but all reporting back in effect to the top gun for final decisions.

You can expect from this heavy handed ruthless treatments using the Ford D’s as Delay, Deny, Discourage, and Deception…..

In order to have his position solidified he has been given dividends presently restricted shares in the millions in conjunction with Bill Ford Jr.

Please see bellow supporting statements confirming what we have said.

Inefficient management rewarded with…
Board Awards Ford's Ford $18 million and
Ford's Padilla $6.8 Million Bonus' in Shares

DETROIT, March, 2005; Reuters reported that

Ford Motor Co. granted Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Bill Ford Jr. $18 million in restricted shares and stock options in compensation last week, the automaker said on Monday.
For last year's performance, the automaker's board awarded Bill Ford with 600,720 restricted shares valued at $7.5 million in lieu of a cash salary and a bonus of 240,288 restricted shares valued at $3 million.

HOW CAN ANYONE BE COMPENSATED FOR HIM BRINGING FORD TO THE EDGE?

As an incentive for future performance, Bill Ford was also awarded a long-term stock option grant covering 1.68 million shares with a strike price of $12.49, Ford spokesman Oscar Suris told Reuters on Monday.

HE WAS USELESS IN THE PAST. WILL IT BE THE SAME IN THE FUTURE? …YES.

The options, a third of which will be exercisable in a year, were valued at $7.5 million, Suris said.
Bill Ford, whose great-grandfather founded Ford 100 years ago, has forgone a cash salary since the company ousted former CEO Jacques Nasser in 2001.

NOT DONE OUT OF THE GOODNESS OF HIS HEART.

Ford saw its net income rise seven-fold to $3.48 billion in 2004 from $495 million in the previous year.

QUESTIONNABLE ACCOUNTING???

Bill Ford said he intends to donate his 2004 bonus, or $3 million. Half will go to a scholarship program he set up for the children of Ford's U.S. employees and the other half to local charities.

DON’T DILUDE YOURSELF. HE WOULD USE THIS AS A PERSONAL TAX CREDIT.

"This award from the Board was in recognition of my 2004 performance, and I very much appreciated it," Bill Ford said in a letter to employees on Monday. "But funding scholarships for employee's children seems appropriate since in the end my performance is really a measure of your efforts."

ADDING TO HIS ALREADY BIG EGO.

The company's president and chief operating officer, Jim Padilla, was awarded $6.8 million in common shares, restricted shares and stock options last week.
Padilla received 246,696 restricted shares worth $3 million as compensation for his 2004 performance. He also received 83,000 unrestricted shares worth about $1 million at Friday's closing price of $12.39 on the New York Stock Exchange.
These are in addition to his cash salary, which will be disclosed in the automaker's annual proxy in April.
As an incentive for future performance, Padilla was granted 629,213 in stock options, a third of which would be exercisable in a year. The options, which have a strike price of $12.49, were valued at $2.8 million, Suris said.

SHADES OF FORMER CEO JACQUES NASSER. WE PREDICT SAME RESULTS OR WORSE.

Padilla’s background is varied. Why has he been in so many different jobs with Ford and why has he been to so many different places? Was that his training schedule? Was he that incompetent? To his credit his being in charge of manufacturing operations which includes the Ford Escort, Mercury Tracer, Ford Contour, Mercury Mystic and the infamous Ford Taurus/Mercury Sable. Also it must be noted that his close relationship with President Vincente Fox (president of Mexico) aided him to become the new CEO and hatchet man for Ford to lower labor costs. The plan was to outsource American labor etc…. and at a close distance. There by saving besides labor costs also transportation costs. Please note all the saving of outsourcing will be on the backs of Ford labor that has been in their employ for over 35 years etc… What in the hell is going on? Are they not human beings who should be rewarded for their efforts? Ford which we have stated often is a corporation like a coca cola bottle. The bottle neck is always at the top and the finger is pointed always at their loyal valuable employees.

LEMON’S ORACLE.....

As predicted by the FordLemon’s oracle…

What hypocrites!
“The best plans of mice and men”
Year 2005 not so rosy… Ford prediction as false as previous years?

FORD SALES TUMBLE

ATT:
Bill Ford Jr.
Jim Padilla
Joe Hinrinchs

Ford Motor Co. took a hit, with sales down nearly 20% in September. Ford, Lincoln and Mercury car sales rose 6%, but sales of trucks and SUVs fell nearly 28%. The company’s overall sales were also flat for the first nine months of the year. Ford Motor Credit is seeking cheaper sources of funding after S&P cut Ford’s unsecured debt to high-yield, high-risk status in May, raising their cost to borrow, the New York-based ratings company said. The finance unit of Ford may sell a record of $100 billion in dept backed by loans this year after the U.S. automaker’s dept was cut to junk in May, Standard & Poor’s said. S & P rated about $71.7 billion in debt backed by car and truck leases through Aug. 31, already exceeding the amount issued for all of 2004, the rating company said in a report dated Sept. 30. Ford represented 27% and GM represented 4%.....

A propos to our article of October 3rd re headed “Ford’s new hatchet man and autocrat Jim Padilla” We have come across 2 articles which solidifies all our rhetoric since we have gone online. They are succinct and well structured and show Ford as a rudderless ship waiting to founder on the rocks in a stormy scene.

N.B. Read the two articles that are supplying. Read them thoroughly and carefully and you will get all of your frequently asked questions regarding Ford’s horrible situations.

EXECUTIVE DRAMA
Ford: The Hamlet of Dearborn

CEO Bill Ford is questioning his own ability to rescue the automaker.
FORTUNE
Monday, October 3, 2005
By Alex Taylor III

Is there a new leader in Ford’s future? Chairman and CEO Bill Ford, 48, has apparently been doing some soul-searching about his ability to rescue the company that his great-grandfather started. His conclusion: Somebody else may be able to do the job better than he can.
People close to the situation describe him as distracted, avoiding operational decisions, and unwilling to make the tough calls needed to resize the company. Having grown up thinking of Ford Motor as part of his extended family, he has difficulty ordering layoffs or firing favored executives, preferring to kick them upstairs into new jobs. He’s stretched thin by his outside life too, which includes serving as an eBay board member, a Princeton trustee, and vice chairman of the Detroit Lions.
Indeed, his conflicted behavior recalls a certain melancholy Danish prince. The CEO has already extended job offers to two of the brightest stars in the auto industry: Carlos Ghosn, CEO of both Nissan and Renault, and Dieter Zetsche, the newly named chairman of DaimlerChrysler. But in Hamletesque fashion, his recruiting pitch was halfhearted. Contrary to well-circulated rumors, he apparently did not offer the CEO job to either man. Rather, he dangled only a No. 2 job to start. No wonder that while Ghosn was reportedly tempted by the chance to live in the U.S., both men turned him down.
Ford’s moves also show concern about the lack of depth in the management team under him. A reorganization of the company in the 1990s called “Ford 2000” stripped out layers of managers with profit-and-loss responsibility. More executives left a few years later when then-CEO Jac Nasser recruited a pack of since-departed outsiders to make over the company. Important jobs like chief financial officer and Ford of Europe head have become revolving doors that seem to spin on an annual basis. In September, Bill Ford put North American operations under the control of 44-year-old Mark Fields, a talented Harvard MBA but one whose entire operating experience has come overseas.
Ford Motor needs help now to shrink its operations to fit its U.S. market share, which has fallen from 26.4% ten years ago to 18.8% today. Its North American auto business produced $907 million in pretax losses during the second quarter alone. The company has already said it will cut at least 2,750 salaried jobs this year, but there are reports that as many as 30% of North American salaried workers—about 10,500 people—could be on the block. Ford has been slow to make public the details of the massive restructuring, which will probably include closing several assembly plants and furloughing thousands of blue-collar workers, because of ongoing negotiations with the United Auto Workers.
Will the board step in and ask Bill Ford to give up his CEO post to make room for a new gunslinger like Ghosn or Zetsche? Not likely, since Ford’s family controls 40% of the shareholder votes. But that doesn’t rule out the possibility that he could decide to step down himself while remaining as chairman. In a chat with reporters recently, he seemed to leave open the option. “I’m not looking to go anywhere from this job,” he said. “But if you’re asking, ‘Am I going to continue talking to executives around the industry?’ Absolutely.”
He can’t move fast enough. Analysts from Standard & Poor’s rating agency worry that Ford’s competitive position has deteriorated in the past few months as SUV sales have plummeted, further endangering its financial health. And Merrill Lynch predicts another big sales slump as the impact of employee discounts wears off. Time is running short for Prince William.

Bill Ford says he's committed to CEO post,
but leaves door open to other options

AUTOMOTIVE NEWS
Posted Date: 10/6/05
DETROIT - Bill Ford says he's committed to being Ford Motor Co.'s CEO during this unfolding restructuring. On the other hand, if someone more suited to the job comes along, that's OK, too.

The Ford family scion, 48, answered questions about his role at Ford Motor at a Sept. 21 press conference.

You've been CEO for almost four years. Is this your big test?

Every day is a big test. The world changes so much all the time. The state of the externals are so much different today than they were a year ago. I know we were on the right path. We started to invest more in cars, more in fuel efficiency, several years ago, knowing that oil was going to be a dear and more precious resource. We in no way anticipated $70-a-barrel oil a year ago. So the world has changed, and it's changing rapidly.

With every change, it does provide a big new test for us and for me personally. And there is no blueprint for this. We're in times and conditions that this industry hasn't seen before. It's not going to be a bed of roses for the next number of quarters. But we are making progress, and we've taken some important steps to get us back on the road.

There have been reports that you've approached Carlos Ghosn (CEO of Renault and Nissan) about a job. You've approached Dieter Zetsche (DaimlerChrysler CEO-designate) about a job. Can you talk about your own commitment to being CEO?

It's part of my job to always talk to everyone in the industry and seek out the best talent. I'm always going to do that. I'm not looking to go anywhere from this job. The jobs you've referenced, I mean they weren't coming for my job. Am I going to continue talking to executives around the industry? Absolutely.

Can you say whether you still want to be CEO when you're 55 or 60 or 65? About the people you've been talking to, you say it has not been for your role. But are you out there looking for somebody who could be the next CEO?

Part of my job as chairman is to make sure the board has a variety of people to choose from. I always want the board to have more than one choice for my job and for all the top jobs.

But that doesn't answer the first part of your question, in terms of how long I want to do this. I have no idea. I think I even said four years ago, "I don't know." Because I'm going to remain with this company anyway. I won't be a traditional CEO, where I retire and walk out the door and never come back again. They're going to have to get rid of me in a very different way when the time comes. I love this place.

And if there's somebody better to be CEO, fine, because I'm not leaving. And if I can provide leadership for this place in a different role, that's fine, too. But I'm not anticipating that.

People have called you the reluctant CEO. Is that fair?

Not anymore. No, I'm not reluctant at all. When I stepped into it, I would have said the timing was not my choosing. I have a young family. You do make trade-offs in this role.

Part of it is there are tensions in terms of wanting to spend time with my kids, spending time at home with my family. But everybody faces that in their job. So was the timing ideal? From a personal standpoint, no. But you can't choose your timing. I'm not reluctant at all anymore. Not that I ever was. I shouldn't say anymore. I think it was more of a timing issue.

Ford caught up in their indiscretions….

All Ford’s misdeeds lies, deaths, carnages, injuries, incapacitations and diseases etc have caught up with this vicious evil mega corporation. Eventually they have to pay for the wrongs against their customers in the past, the present and the future. Their goal is to make money at anybody’s and everybody’s expense. Their credo is greed and money. To them gold is the root of all evil and Ford’s reaction to this axiom is “give us more and more root…” This is a philosophy that a ruthless, corrupt and remorseless corporation like Ford exemplifies and epitomizes. Note that thieves are always caught in the end. Ford’s arrogant approach to the Ford public has finally caught up with them creating a situation where people are examining very carefully to buy their new products from them or not to.
Ford is in need of money and Hertz has become the sacrificial lamb. They were forced to give up this profitable entity because the state of New York allows a leasing company to be held liable for car and truck accidents. Leasing companies face several billion dollars in potential payouts because of the law. What a shame because of Ford’s lack of confidence in the quality and the safety of their products. Ford sells Hertz for $5.6 billion
Deal allows automaker to focus on retail sales
By RICK POPELY
Chicago Tribune

Ford Motor Co. agreed Monday to sell its Hertz Corp. rental-car unit to a group of private equity firms for $5.6 billion to raise cash and focus on its struggling automotive business.
Ford, which announced plans to sell or spin off Hertz in April, said the transaction would total nearly $15 billion, including debt. The buyers include Clayton Dubilier & Rice, the Carlyle Group and Merrill Lynch Global Private Equity.
Ford stock closed up 2 cents, to $9.92, on the New York Stock Exchange Monday. The automaker expects the transaction to close by the end of the year.
Hertz, the world's largest daily rental company with 7,400 locations in nearly 150 countries, is profitable.
But Burnham Securities analyst David Healy said Ford made the right decision.
He cited the cash the deal brings, which will boost liquidity and help with the automaker's health-care burden and product development.
Chairman and CEO Bill Ford Jr. said last month that he would announce a restructuring this fall after a string of bad news.
After its core North American auto unit swung to a $907 million loss in the second quarter from a $454 million pretax profit a year earlier, Ford executives said in July they would close plants, trim the white-collar work force and accelerate cost cutting.
The company expects auto operations to lose money this year, a major retreat from a forecast in January of a $1.5 billion to $2 billion profit. Ford's credit rating has been lowered to "junk" status by Standard & Poor's Rating Services and Moody's Investor Service.
Since 1999, Ford's U.S. market share has fallen 6 points, to 19 percent, and it increasingly has relied on the Ford Credit financial unit for profits.
Ford has held an interest in Hertz for decades and acquired the rental-car operation in 1994. Hertz, based in Park Ridge, N.J., has been a blessing and a curse for Ford as a sales outlet.
When auto sales slowed, Ford could count on Hertz to buy large numbers of vehicles such as the Taurus sedan to keep factories running. But when Hertz would sell the cars after a year or two of service, the flood of vehicles into the used-car market depressed resale values.
Now, Ford is trying to wean itself from daily rental fleets and concentrate on retail sales, which generate higher profit margins.
"Hertz is no longer an outlet for the tens of thousands of Ford vehicles that it used to be, and it doesn't relate to Ford's core business," Healy said. "I don't think the absence of Hertz will hurt Ford overall."
Before the sale, Hertz had agreed to buy Ford vehicles until 2010, though Securities and Exchange Commission filings do not specify the number.

Ford Stops N.Y. leases

(The Gazette, Saturday, April 5, 2003)
Dearborn, Mich.
Ford Motor Co., the world’s second-largest automaker, said it will stop leasing vehicles in New York in early July because of state laws that allow a leasing company to be held liable for car and trucks accidents. Leasing companies face “several billion dollars in potential payouts” because of the law, the automaker’s Ford Motor Credit Co. consumer-finance unit said in a statement.

What a shame!!!!

Hey Joe!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The man who runs Ford of Canada is already a big wheel in Oakville, Ont., and 38-year-old Joe Hinrichs
has all the right stuff to make it to the very top of his business.
Hinrichs is an electrical engineer with an MBA from Harvard and
about 20 years' experience in the American car business.
He joined Ford in December 2000.

Hinrichs came to Canada in January 2005.
For this job he runs not only factory logistics, but the whole ball of wax.

"The primary difference is working with the dealers and the sales and marketing organization on the retail side.
Most of my background has been on the manufacturing or business process side of things," Hinrichs says.
"I also have a lot of interaction with governments on a local and a national level."

Hinrichs won't be in Canada forever.

His timeline in Canada?

"My work permit is for three years, so I'd expect it to be around that time," he says.
Hinrichs has a simple ambition: He wants his legacy to be that Ford sells more cars.
That's a tough job in what is becoming an even rougher market for domestic automakers.

The above is a synopsis of the interview between the press and Joe Hinrichs, pertinent info only revealed. He is a dreamer in Technicolor regarding maintaining and increasing Ford’s public following which is being lost day by day. Putting aside the question of the junk that they continue to turn out, his only salvation is to address Ford’s purchasers and make amends with customers of the past and present that still remain with their problems.

Our suggestions which we have given to you before are as follows:

1- Change your general attitude towards Ford’s customers. i.e. “Deceptions, Deny, Delay and Discourage”

2- Eliminate all arrogance at all levels of management.

3- Eliminate ego trips of middle and upper management.

4- Eliminate ignoring legitimate claims of customers.

5- Do not treat customers like sub humans.

6- Dismiss complete silence refusing any dialogue and do not sweep any problems under the Ford rug.

7- Eliminate playing the musical chairs. “Collusion between FMC and dealers”

Attention of Joe Hinrichs personally….

Joe! We know you have a formidable task to contend with.

Our oracle predicts the following:
You’ll not achieve all that you have in view
because you will be stymied
by the old corrupted buddy gang of the
Ford family and their cohorts.
However good luck!

Hey Joe it was nice to see a photo in one of our
local Montreal papers wherein it mentioned many of
your accolades
including a Harvard M.B.A.,
engineering degree and also valuable experience in
the auto business.
You seem to have a good physical stature that you will
definitely need to carry all the transgressions from the past,
present and future endeavors to come.
If Ford continues their nefarious attitudes they will continue to
fall lower and lower and at the present time causing a
downsizing possibly to a point of closing more and
more plants creating tremendous losses of valuable help that would be irreplaceable.
Perhaps outsourcing all your production can turn the picture around.
In addition the vicious arrogance attributed towards customers must be eliminated.
Remember that happy and satisfied customers equals longevity of corporate products and corporate profits.

ON THE ROAD AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!

As the summer is back and we can drive the Fungus mobile with all windows completely open we are going to various places to exhibit the junk car that has been sold to us by Ford. We are on the road again. Many people are questioning us when they see the sign on top of our car. It is a pleasure for us to answer them and tell them how bad Ford is. In return they tell us about THEIR misadventure with the mega evil corporation that is Ford.
See you in the Montreal area. We will attempt to park this car in front of various Ford dealers in order to get them out of their dream world… See you soon guys!!!!
Don’t throw any stones please…

400 000 VISITORS IN LESS THAN 3 YEARS.
Since the official launch of our web site in 2002 almost 3 years have passed by. We have reached a point where our efforts were rewarded as we welcomed over 400 000 visitors since we are online. We will continue to inform and update the driving public about this nefarious Mega Corporation that is Ford Motor Company. Stay tuned for more!

Beware!
Attention Ford Motor Company customers and potential customers:

Think hard and clearly. Incentive price reductions can save you money but can they reduce injuries and deaths?
Will your guarantees and warrantees be honored as miserably as before or worse?
Credibility from the past suggests no!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
You will get nothing… nothing but misery and aggravations.
Ford has used and means to sell cars…. Their formula is: Profits first, Human’s last.

Beware! Beware before buying a new or used car or truck that is a Ford product or associated to Ford in any manner. You can be assured that quality and treatment received will be identical rotten to the core. Listed below are the brands associated to Ford:

Ford, Lincoln, Mercury, Mazda, Volvo, Jaguar, Land-Rover, Aston martin.

Ford CEO Bill Ford Jr. Joins EBay Board

Ford Motor Co. Chairman and Chief Executive Bill Ford Jr. has joined the board of eBay Inc., the online auction company said late Wednesday.

EBay isn't replacing an existing board member, but simply expanding its board to eleven members, eBay spokesman Hani Durzy said, adding that Ford has leadership and business strategy skills.

"What he's done at Ford Motor Company would benefit any board. We're really pleased to have him," Durzy said.

Ebay, which is based in San Jose, Calif., has a growing auto business, but Durzy said that there's no specific connection between that business and the decision to appoint Ford, who has been CEO at the Dearborn, Mich.-based auto company since 2001.

Consumers and dealers sell vehicles and vehicle parts through eBay's vehicle site, eBay Motors. EBay Motors had gross merchandise volume of $14.3 billion for the quarter that ended June 30, up from the prior year's $9.8 billion. The company defines gross merchandise volume as the total value of all successfully closed listings on its trading sites.

"What he's done at Ford Motor Company would benefit any board. We're really pleased to have him," Durzy said…..

Come on! His bad and dastardly reputation (Bill Ford Jr.) precedes him. Surely he cannot be an asset to Ebay and at what cost? This is open to contention.

His reputation in the auto (Ford Motor Co) precedes him. Since his inception as CEO the business in the Ford Motor Company has declined and continues to do so. Has Ebay missed the boat by being impressed by the Ford name? Hmm… Nothing else! Will he be an asset or a deficit? Our projection is that he would be a detriment and at what cost? Monetarily to him and to Ebay? Unknown….

FLAMING FORDS
Fords on Fire
Ford Recall, Part III

By Steve Wilson

Our Action News investigative team is focused this week on flaming Fords, vehicles that catch fire often when they’re not even running and have long been parked. Our investigation now turns to whether Ford has developed a habit of putting corporate profit ahead of customer safety.

Ford has recalled 800,000 popular trucks and SUV’s already, due to a speed control switch that can catch fire and burn down your house if the vehicle is parked in your garage. As we told you Tuesday night, it’s a problem Ford has known about for some time now, and auto safety experts are worried because the recall covers only about 1 in 10 of the models that have this suspect switch built in.

Ford’s own test showed five years ago that these cruise control switches can spit fire, even in a car long parked in the garage with the engine off. This, some say, has already been the result in a few cases. In others, only the vehicles themselves have been destroyed.

Ford says only four models – the 2000 model F-150 Pickups, Expeditions and Navigators and the 2001 model Supercrew Pickups -- are being recalled, because none of the other 416 models built with the same switch design are burning up at the same rate as these.

Clarence Ditlow/Center for Auto Safety: What Ford is doing, is, I mean, they’re hiring statisticians to slice and dice the data.

At the Center for Auto Safety is Washington, Clarence Ditlow says Ford is just up to its old tricks.

Ditlow: There’s clearly a pattern. What Ford is trying to do is to limit the scope of a recall, to develop a containing strategy, or develop a fence around certain vehicles and do a small recall in order to avoid a bigger, more expensive recall.

Ditlow says that’s just what Ford did when it first recalled speed control switches in big sedans back in 1999, leaving many unrecalled because they were not burning up with the same frequency.

Ditlow: Ford took the exact same strategy in the ignition switch fires in the earlier 1990’s, and they tried to do small recalls and ultimately they did an 8-million-vehicle recall.

Remember the scene of a flaming Ford allegedly set afire the other day by a faulty speed control switch?

Action News has acquired footage of a fiery Ford ignited years ago, likely by what Ford ultimately admitted was a faulty ignition switch the automaker built into millions of its cars from the late 70’s to ’92.

Many in the auto safety field like Jeff Morrell remember Ford’s response as a shameful chapter in the company’s history.

Jeff Morrill/Fire Investigator: They said it was only the Canadian vehicles that were affected by the ignition switch fires.

Wilson: Even though the ignition switch was built into the American vehicles just as the same as the Canadians.

Morrill: By part number, it was the exact same switch.

By the time Ford finally extended the recall in this country, millions of other Fords were not included in the recall.

John Dodson/Victims’ Son: My father, his heart was still beating but he wasn’t breathing when they got him out, and my mother never recovered. She was dead on arrival at the hospital.

John’s 72-year-old father, Cecil Dodson, parked his ’82 Ford Crown Victoria in the garage, just under the bedroom. Hours later, at 1:30 in the morning, it caught fire.

John Dodson: And when they woke up, they could see there was some coming from the windows below them.

When Cecil Dodson got to the garage, the car was flaming, and the fire was spreading.

Cecil Dodson/Owned Flaming Ford: I survived.

Daughter: But he has lung damage.

Cecil Dodson: Oh yeah, it took a lot out of me.

It inflicted harm his family says ultimately led to his death not long after he spoke with us.

Six months after the deadly Dodson fire, Ford warned of the faulty ignition switches and recalled millions of many different models in the U.S., but, as we said, not the Dodson’s car or millions of others like it.

John Dodson:Anyway, over the course of two or three years, a lot of documents surfaced that made me very aware that three years before my parents’ house fire, high-ranking Ford officials knew all about the problem and chose not to tell anyone. In a defect like this, not telling, they might as well have shot my mother with a gun.

So Dodson, a mild-mannered resort manager turned real estate broker, went on a mission to ferret out all he could learn about what Ford knew, and when it knew it.

Most of what he learned is outlined in a document attained by Action News. It’s a blistering and thorough documentation of alleged Ford misconduct laid out for the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration by State Farm insurance investigators and lawyers. Their cover letter asks:

• Did Ford meet its legal obligations to promptly warn the government and Ford customers of the potentially deadly defect?

• Did Ford improperly limit the scope of the government’s investigation that led to only a limited recall?

• And did Ford not tell all it knew and withhold certain key documents from NHTSA?

The cover letter is followed by chapter and verse and key documents, along with examples that raise serious and troubling questions about Ford’s conduct.

John Dodson: The document that caught my interest years ago that convinced me that they knew is a thing called a Failure Mode Analysis...

That document shows scores resulting from testing on the faulty switch way back in 1978.

John Dodson: Ford’s rating system rates severity 1 through 10 and the ability to detect the problem coming, 1-10. And it said that severity was a 10, the worst possible rating, and the ability to detect it, meaning that you wouldn’t know it was going to happen, they gave it a 10 also.

A number of other internal Ford documents and employee notes reviewed by Action News confirm what State Farm said in its presentation to the government, that Ford:

• clearly "...withheld facts..." highly material to safety concerns, raising concerns that Ford

• "...hindered NHTSA’s ability to protect the public..." by preventing the government from adequately investigating the hazard

And then, when the U.S. recall seemed unavoidable, there’s this: an internal Ford email asking "...where we stand on the population reduction analysis..." In other words, how many vehicles will have to be recalled, and "...what is being done to pare it down."

Remember what Ditlow said about Ford building a fence around only a few defective models to limit any recall? A document confirms it, stating that Ford will work to "...define a defendable fence around certain vehicles/model years..." the company will recall.

There are also the internal memos, which outline supporting rationale Ford will use to avoid recalling millions of cars with the allegedly defective switch.

Ditlow: What they’re doing is they’re trading profits for lives, and that’s not a fair trade.

John Dodson: I see retirees, a lot of retirees, elderly, poor people driving these cars around still, and they have no idea.

Right here in Michigan, 14,000 unrecalled Crown Victorias with the same suspect ignition switch are still on the road, including one still babied by it’s owner, who drives it to play golf in nice weather and then pulls it into his garage every time he returns home.

John Dodson: I always wonder if they’re going to pull them into their garage and go to sleep at night...

Wilson: And not wake up.

Dodson: And not wake up.

And that’s why John Dodson and his lawyers Bud DeLuca and Marion Weizenbaum have labored for more than 10 years now, in a David and Goliath battle to get Ford in front of a jury to hold them accountable.

Wilson to Dodson: What are you going to do, beat your head against the wall for years to get into a courtroom and spend thousands and thousands of dollars against somebody who has no bottom to their pocket, who will eventually...

Dodson: It’s terrible. That’s true. That’s their game plan, and they have everything possible to wear us down to make us give up, make it too expensive, just make us forget it. But we’re not.

Ford claimed in an e-mail to Action News Chief Investigator Steve Wilson this week that the Dodson case has been derailed. Not true – it’s awaiting trial, and you should also know that after a government investigation? Action News has acquired the agreement where Ford paid the government $425,000 to settle claims the car company did indeed violate federal law hiding the truth about the faulty ignition switches.

Special Investigative Reports

By Steve Wilson

The Action News Investigators have confirmed reports from Ford owners that several models have burst into flames, many while parked in garages with the engine off, sometimes destroying homes. Ford has already announced a recall of about 800,000 vehicles with a suspect speed control switch but Chief Investigative Reporter Steve Wilson has learned 10 times as many may be at risk.

Ford owners you have to check this out for your safety.
Some individuals badly hurt and some deaths. Initial evidence points out the faulty cruise control switch which is on at all time. This switch has to be disable and/or rectify. How can any design put Ford’s customers at such risk as we have stated many times in the past: bottom line first, damn the customers… Is there “Ford’s team song”? Let all the skeptics criticize us again for our true predictions. Right on the money again…. Hey Bill! Hey Joe….

How much is a human life worth?

Ford’s view….

This article exhibits Ford’s complete disregard for vehicular passengers putting cost saving measures as priorities to the cost of human lives and sufferings. See below showing Ford’s unconscionable attitude which remains today. Bill Ford Jr. is diluting himself thinking that he drinks from the Holy Grail??? How can he and his cohorts live with themselves?

See article here. A classic flaming Ford story.

Revelations in this article points out that the Pinto improvement of the explosive fuel tanks could have been made on two occasions.

1- 5.08$ cost per unit.
2- 11$ cost per unit.

These suggestions were rejected by Ford.

We ask this one question: Is this right?????

More profit -------? Ford

Or

Deaths ------------? Customers

The Ford&Goldman Sachs scandal.... Corpus delicti !!!
Starring Bill Ford Jr in the movie "How I got rich by screwing people"

Once again from the past a big scandal has hit Ford Motor Company again and in particular Bill Ford Jr. that magnifies and intensifies his rotten and insidious character to the core that spills over into the running of the Ford Motor Company which is going downhill continuously. They are now rated #5.
Anonymously we have received legal papers exposing indiscretions by Bill Ford jr.

Ford’s new deception in marketing their products.

It seems that Ford Motor Company would do anything and everything to obtain new markets. But it seems this ploy is one of the lowest forms by Ford. It is a water down form of subliminal motivation. Which is a deception that will give Ford more leverage to dishonor more warranties and more guaranties to aid their bottom line but again at the expense of customers. More money by any means. This action has been taken because of increased recalls which has the effect of lowering profits.

Ford to flaunt gas cap ads

Marketing move for 2006 models could be the first in U.S. to link major automakers and oil companies.

July 2, 2005

For 2006, Fords will be choosy about what they drink.

In a marketing tie-in that apparently is a first in this country between a major carmaker and an oil company, all 2006 Ford brand cars and light trucks will have stickers on their gas caps saying "Ford recommends BP." BP sells gasoline in this country under its own and the Amoco names.

Neither Ford nor BP is claiming Fords will run any better with BP/Amoco than with any other gasoline, although a joint announcement by the companies cites a survey purportedly showing Amoco gasoline is rated highest in quality by consumers.

"We just let the fuel speak for itself," said BP spokesman Scott Dean. "We're not going to compare ourselves to the competition."

Ford division president Darryl Hazel said in a statement, "The fuel cap recommendation allows customers to establish a tangible connection between both companies."

Other Ford Motor Co. brands, including Mercury, Lincoln, Volvo, Land Rover, Jaguar, Mazda and Aston Martin, won't have any fuel brand recommendation.

Some motorist advocates think consumers could be misled by the recommendations. "Some people might get really worried about putting Shell or something else in their car," said David Champion, who heads Consumer Reports' auto test department. "I wouldn't want people driving all over the countryside looking for a BP/Amoco station for no real benefit to themselves." He and spokesman Peter Crescenti of the Automobile Club of New York said gasolines of similar octanes from major producers perform pretty much alike. "We'd be concerned," said Crescenti, "if owners of Fords were misled into believing this was the best brand for their car for no other reasons than marketing."

Representatives for industry leader Exxon Mobil didn't immediately return calls seeking comment.

Health update May 4, 2005

As you probably read on our web site the owner of the Taurus got sick on account of a faulty HVAC made by Ford.

Our chief executive (The owner of the Fungus Mobil) who was subjected originally to aspergillus fumigatus was hospitalized recently on February the 13th 2005 for a major pneumonia. This may have been attributed to his age and the infestation which caused the immune system to infectious diseases to diminish. The follow up included a new X-Ray showing an increase of 2 millimeters in diameter in his granuloma located on his left lung. We have the new X ray. This increase occurred in approximately 4 years and 4 months.
The occurrence of non serious health problems did not probably happened earlier and can be based on a strict regime of alternative medicine in addition to some minimal pharmaceutical medicines. The cost of such medications was approximately 750$ Canadian per month. This is a very substantial sum. This can be proved with documentation and what price can we set on a poor life quality? Fortunately he is able financially to sustain this cost. The choice was either to fight a ruthless corporation or pass into the great beyond with many of Ford’s customers who have gone that way also. He has chosen the first option. The choice of an internal biopsy would be an invasion of a personal patient of 78 years old which could be very dangerous especially because of the risk of infections which are prevalent in most of the hospitals. Our next examination will be in 6 months.
At that time an internal biopsy might have to be considered. We are appalled by Ford Motor and their attitude. By continually ignoring any dialogue concerning this serious situation any repercussions Ford and there executives have felt from our media is justly deserved. Recent trends on the web have shown that the general public has become strongly sympathetic with our true picture of a very bad situation.

What in the hell is going on? Are people in this organization all deaf and blind?

OTIS FORD SUCKS

Since a few years the FordLemon’s crew is having a fight against a nefarious corporation that is Ford Motor Company. We are not the only ones!

You have to take a look at this web site:

www.otisfordsucks.com
In Quogue, Eastern Long Island, N.Y.

Used parts were used instead of new parts on a brand new vehicle. The public should be aware!
. CEO's at Ford refuse to get involved or even help one of its shareholders, and that's not right. That’s the way our fellow activist has been treated. In retrospect he has really been very active and to say the least doing it alone. He is picketing and denunciating a bad situation that we could call a fraud. Please support this guy and avoid Otis Ford! Good Luck Mark!

This picture is worth a thousand words...

Congratulations to all our staff
Congratulations to all our staff that worked and still works hard to inform and keep up to date the general public about what’s going on with this nefarious mega corporation that is Ford Motor Company.
Our web site has been shown recently on a TV Show diffused on Space Channel. The FordLemon.com web site was given as the best example of how a dissatisfied customer can turn out into a big activist. Through the years we built up a strong team to achieve our mission. We worked hard and spent time and effort to “hit the target” and take care of all these abused customers who are coming to us for help and advice. It is incredible the amount of people writing to us everyday to get information, tips and support. As we are a non-profit organization, the best reward we can get is to see that our work is appreciated. To see our web site displayed and awarded on TV was a good accolade to us. We are proud of our team! We accomplished a lot since the beginning of our project. Long life to the FordLemon’s crew! We won’t back down as we are going to intensify our efforts to spread the truth about a lying corporation.

Regarding Bill Ford Jr (post #204 on our forum) of January the 13, 2005, we are still waiting for him to take care of us. This is from an implied threat sent by him. All we have seen regarding this situation and all previous situations shows the same bullshit approach and what he considers as a joke regarding the general public continues to show his disdain. In other words he doesn’t give sh*t….. We trust we will be hearing from him shortly and we hope that his winter vacation will be over soon so he can get back to business which he never does. Get off your big fat a**……….. This is a lesson for the new CEO of Ford Motor Canada … Do not follow your predecessor long nose Bill….

Once AGAIN our predictions came true again!
Ford continues its stumble…

Toyota’ vehicle production in Canada has surpassed Ford for the first four months of the year,
pushing the Oakville based auto maker into fifth place in the market.

1- General Motors: 268,842

2- Daimler-Chrysler: 218,938

3- Honda: 133,801

4- Toyota: 104,613

5- Ford: 87,155

Ford is #5 and still slipping….

Hi there Joe!
The beat goes on Canadian production as predicated by our clairvoyant…
How about a reply? Is the FordLemon’s crew right on the money or not?

One of our predictions came true again!
With a company like Ford you are so predictable.
Hi Joe!

Once again Joe as predicted by our oracle at the beginning of 2005: Ford Motor Company has continued to slide lower and lower and will continue to do so. We are still waiting for your comments regarding this. Good luck Joe!

Ford's Downward Trend Could Accelerate

JOEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hey Joe! You conscience finally caught up with you by your admission that
Ford never had a transparency to their customers. Hurrah! FIVE STARS!!!!!!

83% of Ford's earnings
came from Ford's credit-lending division.

`
HEY HEY HEY JOE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What the heck is going on?

NORTH AMERICAN BIG THREE.. FORD INCLUDED...

HEY JOE!

Hi there Joe! As you recall our predictions are starting to fall into place. The faults in your Ford vehicles have continued from 2004 and into 2005. See article from Bloomberg news stating “Focus takes hit for poor crash results tested in insurance group". Consumer reports strips it and 6 others from its list of recommended cars. Our analysis shows that the Focus received that poorest score by trying to save money by eliminating 2 side air bags. To add to this, Ford’s short comings will issue a recall for different models of 2000-2002 Ford Focus for corrosions problems that could cause rear doors latches to fail which can occur by having a door opening while driving. This covers 21 states in the United States and 7 provinces in Canada. 793 779 vehicles were manufactured from 2000 to 2002. What’s next Joe? The sky will fall? Tell us when!!! Tell us where!!!

In addition Mr. Joe:

How can you explain to the public that Ford Motor Company of Canada will receive 200 millions of dollars in subsidies that come from poor hard working citizens? All that money will be given to your mega corporation that turns out junk at the expense of unsuspecting human beings. Reviewing your recent interview in Toronto shows the same subterfuge as before that project a lot of maybes and no definites. Hesitantly you have pointed out that even with a drop of market share; the company has posted a profit in Canada. Have we been told why??? Oh no! Ask yourself where the profit came from. It came from the biggest money making division of Ford that is from the credit division and has nothing to do as far as producing products. Does not the company spend billions in lobbyists in Washington already? Why? Why? Why? Please! We expect an answer by return!

Hi there! Hi Joe! Wasssss uppp???

You have now been initiated into the faulty Ford parade. As seen on television, newspapers and the internet, January 2005: 800 000 pick up and sport utility vehicles recalled because of a fire risk of the speed control switch affecting model 2000 f-150 pick up, also Expedition and Navigator SUVs and 2001 F-series pick up trucks. Also last month Ford have also recalled more than 600 000 Escapes and Mazda tribute SUVs from 2000 to 2004 models for accelerator cables which may prevent the engine from returning to the idle which could increase stopping distance and considerably resulting in many crashes. Might we suggest that you keep a score card of the many faulty Ford recalls so that it will always be in from of your eyes and that could make you less skeptical? In the future we can predict there will be many such recalls. If you check our web site you will find that what we are saying is the truth and the web site will bear us out. Once again we wish you luck.
However our predictions will again come true.

Angel or Devil????

Even with the recent retirements and purges of the ancient executive branches there still remains the “Old buddy gang” aka “Ford’s close circle”. Joe will find it difficult to operate and bring new life into a dying horse so don’t expect any miracles as they will be beating the same drum…
The bottom line will reign over any situation as dictated by Bill Ford Jr.
Here are some statements and some predictions:

1- Ford slows rebates as profit dip.
2- Ford sees weaker 2005 profit.
3- Predicting that the struggling premier auto group (Jaguar, Volvo, Land Rover and Aston Martin) will be the most down side risk.
4- December marked the 3rd straight month Ford lowered incentives but its U.S. market share fell by 17.4% points.
5- Ford is cutting the first quarter output in North America to 920 000 units down 8.7% from the first quarter of 2004.
6- President UAW local apprehensive of further cuts at Ford plant in Wixom. They built the Town car, Lincoln LS and the Ford Thunderbird. The latter is being phased out of production and Ford has not set which if any new vehicles will be built at this site.
7- Well a sign of more out sourcing at the expense of assemblers and skilled trades personnel. What gall at the expense of old loyal employees. Can you expect any better from this conniving company?
8- As for customers they will get the same arrogance, the same lip service and the same type of treatment from Ford’s dealers. In other words: They will play the same musical chairs… Under different types of songs… But still the same treatment towards customers.

Good Luck to Joe: The new kid in the block! OH! Oh! Oh! Oh! Oh! Hangin’ tough!

From the frying pan into the fire?!?!?!?

Joseph R. Hinrichs new president of Ford Motor Co. of Canada.

Is this going to be a repeat of past experiences or worse.
Good luck Mr. Hinrichs! We will be checking up on you.

The year 2005 has begun and the usual countless problems continue for Ford.

This is no surprise to us. Delivery delays! Vehicles involved are the Ford 500 sedan, Mercury Montego, and the Ford Freestyle cross over wagon.

Here are a few excerpts from Autonews:

“To get defect-free cars out to dealers more quickly, last week (Christmas period) during what is normally a holiday plant shutdown, Ford had UAW workers at the Chicago plant repairing vehicles, according to a Ford official and others familiar with the plant who asked not to be named. Because it was a holiday week those workers likely were paid triple time for their hours.”

"When you have to fix them before you even send them out, that's the worst. It says they can't produce a salable vehicle without making all sorts of repairs," said Catherine Madden, auto-production analyst for Global Insight, an auto-research firm.”

“In the past few years, Ford has had troubles with launches of vehicles such as the Ford Focus, Thunderbird and Explorer, which had defects that made it out to customers and hurt Ford's reputation.”

In addition the new Ford GT that was supposed to be the “pride” of Ford and the king of their products turns out to be a future mega lemon. Bulletins were sent out to dealerships saying: “Not to drive the car under any circumstances”

3 TBS were issued for this car:

The first "TSB" is due to a power steering leak.

The second TSB is to correct an engine coolant leak due to "incorrect adjustment of the self-tensioning hose clamps."

The last TSB is to correct a rattle from the upper steering column. The rattle is due to the routing of a wiring harness.

More problems to come! Stay tuned for more…

The basic problems are:

1- Attitude of Ford
2- Arrogance
3- Ego trip
4- Ignoring legitimate complaints
5- Customers treated like sub humans

The FordLemon’s crew present:
A synopsis of the year 2004 of the Ford Motor Company.

Because of tremendous amount of information we have attempted to write excerpts showing their short comings both deliberate and accidental regarding their products. In addition their arrogance, untruths and everything contrary in their approach to the general public including injuries, lost of lives, etc….

Recently we have noticed many changes in the higher echelons of executives of the Ford Motor Company. Perhaps Bill Ford Junior has finally admitted to himself that there’s a lack of executive talent that can handle their jobs properly. Listed bellow is the retirements, transfers, and new appointments.

Allan Batty past president of Ford Motor Canada is transferred to Germany to take care of the European sales department. Why?

Nick Scheele is now retired.

Allan Gilmour vice chairman is now retired

Jim Padilla is replacing Scheele as president.

Scheele takes position on the board of directors.

Don Leclair will become executive vice president.

Hau Thai Tung appointed director of advance products creation.

Chris Theodorf is retiring also.

John Coletti is retiring after 32 years.

Joe Hinrichs to replace Alain Batty ... new president of Ford Motor Company of Canada is looking forward to come up to Canada and the new challenge. We hope this is not a move from “the frying pan into the fire”.

The above executive’s changes are due to the dangers of Ford falling behind the “big three”. They must stop the bleeding at any cost. Hopefully it will not be at the expense of the general public that has suffered from this unconscionable mega corporation for years and years. Check out many examples on our web site.

Ford Motor Company Attention Bill Ford Jr.

Recently on TV, November 20th 2004 we have see more of your B.S., subterfuges, camouflage, high pressure pack of lies about the Ford products for 2005. You (Ford) are covering up all the faults that will occur this year (2005) and will most likely go beyond the previous years to regain sales. You are trying to blind the public with high tone gimmicked marketing based on what might be close to sensational forms of subliminal motivations to addict them to a level pitch to generate more sales for Ford. Instead of investing millions of dollars in this particular way, why can they not correct the past and future lemons, faults to come? Don’t be hoodwinked, protect yourself by reading our web site. Dollars, injuries, aggravations and more…..

Caveat emptor! Let the buyer beware!

Ford once again uses customers as guinea pigs.

Ford is consistent in producing their products i.e. they turn out junk!!! Every year! 2005 has not arrived yet and the NHTSF has come out with critical faults already. As assured a rationalization from one of their trained mouth pieces Caroline Brown, to attempt to nullify these situations with a very weak and standard reply which point to all of the past “Ford can’t do no wrong”. Lady, you are made in exactly the same mold as all Ford’s zombies and you follow the Ford 4 D’s which are Deceit, Deny, Discourage and Delay. See previous article. They seem to have the same replies that come from Ford’s standard reply book ….. Page 1 …. Page 5?!

Bill Ford Jr, you are really a piece of work. When god made your mold, he broke it up as not to duplicate it.

LACK OF CONFIDENCE OF FORD!

"If that costs us leadership, I guess I will be willing to congratulate Chevrolet on becoming the largest seller of rental cars in the world."
Ford Division president, Steve Lyons commenting on Chevy becoming the best selling brand.

Recently while browsing the web we found the following article that substantiates the lack of confidence of Ford in their products. This only substantiates and intensifies an article that we posted on our update section of what they felt at that time. What a drag with this horrendous company!!! When will they wake up that “You can fool some of the people some of the time but you can’t fool all the people all of the time”. Reductions in Ford sales prove this point. Toyota now #2, Ford’s #3 And GM is still #1 and going strong.

100 years and counting....

Counting what???

Greater arrogance and more carnage.... deaths.... injuries…. Incapacities…. Loss of livelihood… aggravations.. etc and they will continue to follow their formula of the Ford’s D’s : Deception, Deny, Delay and Discourage.

“Bottom line first and damm the customers”

Our web site substantiates the above accusations.

This excerpt from Blue Oval News exemplifies cost cutting currently and into 2005.

Look at the 2005 Focus, with an interior that rivals an old Geo Metro in utter cheapness of the plastics (how much did they save by contracting the dash out to Fisher-Price?), a new super-bland front end and reduction in NVH materials that make it as loud inside even although it is newer.

What more can be said for this ruthless company.

DON'T BUY BILL FORD'S ENVIRONMENTAL PROMISES.
DON'T BUY HIS CARS!

Ford still makes America's worst gas guzzlers.

Don't buy a Ford... The planet can't afford it.

Once again, Bill Ford Jr. has broken his promise to protect the planet. Ford executives have failed to propose a plan to reduce global warming emissions from their vehicles, as they promised Bluewater Network in meetings we held with them in Dearborn, Michigan in 2003.

Previously, Bill Ford reneged on his pledge to boost SUV fuel mileage by 25%, and personally lobbied Congress against improved fuel mileage standards after pledging to preserve and protect the environment.

By continuing to mislead consumers and the environmental community with eco-rhetoric and false promises, and by refusing to implement today’s climate-friendly technologies, Bill Ford Jr. is maintaining the unfortunate 100-year old Ford legacy of global warming and oil dependence -- a legacy that jeopardizes our children’s -- and the nation's future. The result? Ford vehicles are less efficient than any other major automaker and one of the largest sources of global warming pollution in the U.S.

BILL FORD JR. OR PINOCCHIO?

Don't buy his environmental rhetoric.
Don't buy his cars.

A Message from Bill Ford

Fellow Employees,

In connection with our Centennial Celebration in 2003, we announced the adoption of Business Principles that reflect the values espoused by the Company during our first 100 years. Importantly, the Business Principles also serve as a guide for our decisions and actions globally as we embark upon our second century of delivering excellent automotive products and services. These Business Principles establish standards that we — and others — will use to evaluate our performance in areas that are key to our business.

One of the noteworthy Business Principles is our commitment to account-ability, where we pledge to “be honest and open and model the highest standards of corporate integrity.” Since our commitment to conducting business fairly and honestly began a century ago, integrity is not a novel concept at Ford. It does, however, require a personal commitment by each of us to act ethically in a rapidly changing business environment and conform our actions to the high standards that we set for ourselves.

This Standards of Corporate Conduct handbook provides an overview of the basic obligations of all employees to comply with all laws and Company policies. Neither Company policy nor this handbook, however, anticipates every possible set of circumstances that you may encounter. It is important, therefore, that you adhere to the spirit as well as the letter of the law and policy, and that you seek assistance when it is necessary.

Fulfilling our commitment to accountability and focusing on “doing the right thing” will help us succeed in all that we do.

William Clay Ford, Jr.
Chairman and CEO

Horse shit? Ford's shit?
Take your
choice!

We have reviewed your message from the Ford “Corporate conduct standards” that was released for the centennial. These are our comments backed up by factual proof, our web site, other web sites, newspapers, public articles, forum statements etc… Whatever you have said is false, how can you lie to your employees as well as the rest of the world? This shows how unconscionable your company, your employees, your arrogance and continual untruths. Included in the above are your dealers also.
Ford would win the first lying contest in the entire globe. To finalize, your company and you are full of shit. At present we have only reviewed “Corporate conduct standards” this is just the beginning. We have taken off our white gloves and we will be getting down to more brass tacks in the near future. PUAR!!! Being a bilingual country, we would like to pass along a greeting in French: “Vous êtes vous et votre compagnie tous des tas de marde”

As a reminder...

EXCERPTS ARTICLE MONTREAL GAZETTE JUNE 2 2004

Here we go again! To all skeptics and people who want to endanger their life, Ford once again invites you to play roulette with you life if you purchase their vehicles. Read this carefully!

REPORT [From “La Facture – Radio Canada] - Dangerous Trucks –
"I like my truck so much, but that scares me!” - Jean Bouvier, owner of a Ford truck "From the safety point of view, each time I go into my truck with my children, I am apprehensive" - Gilles Jeanotte, owner of a Ford truck. These two owners of F-150 do not rely any more on their Ford trucks. A bad mechanical problem affected the steering system of their vehicle. They were relieved and were lucky that they had no accident.

Jean Bouvier was in a parking lot, in Saint-Jérôme, when this particular incident occurred "I tried to move back, and that did not work anymore. I tried to go forward, no response, I was unable to move "When I left my vehicle to see what occurred, I had the nasty surprise to see one of the wheels completely misaligned" I immediately thought: "If this was to happen to you on the road and that the wheel twist, you can commit suicide, and you could kill other innocent people."

This major problem is caused by the tie-rod end. This part is absolutely essential for the control and the direction of the vehicle. It maintains the wheel parallel with the other and ensures the vehicle turns while pulling or pushing on the wheel. Since Gilles Jeannotte has had his truck, this original Ford part separated from the wheel twice, without any warning! The last time that it happened to him, it was with his two children and he had just got off the highway "If it had arrived at the moment when I rolled on the highway, I would have been found where?" One can fear the worst.

An end of the rod is composed of a ball joint retained in a casing. On certain ends of rods used by Ford, the casing would be particularly sensitive to corrosion. If this occurs and that should not be, the rusted casing separates suddenly from the ball joint attached to the wheel. The driver then loses complete control of the vehicle.

The Association for the protection of the motorists, the APA reacts. One worry is "There is corrosion on the ball joint, but also on the ring which is judicious to retain the ball joint in place. Obviously, that should not be like that, it should not be rusted at this point.", explains Pierre-Olivier Milette, an expert in mechanical engineering.

These defective rods are found on the trucks Ford F150, F250, Expedition and Navigator for the years 1997 to 2003. "After a certain time, it is always possible that there is a little corrosion. But this occurred on trucks which had a relatively low mileage (approximately 40 000 km)", continues Pierre-Olivier Milette. Gilles Jeannotte spent 1000 $ to make repairs to his truck, Jean Bouvier, spent 783 $. In spite of the abnormally fast wear of these parts, Ford refused to refund them as soon as their guarantee was expired.

Jean-Andre Brunet is an independent mechanic. He repairs Ford trucks which have problems of tie-rod ends. This year, he says he has repaired 20 of them, which is much more than the average. Ford Canada refused to grant an interview to us (La Facture Radio Canada), but at the time of a telephone conversation, the spokesman of Ford affirmed to us that this problem did not threaten absolutely the safety of the users of these trucks "the separation of the tie-rod end can arrive only at very low speed, when the torsion is at its maximum. When that happens, the vehicle continues to run in a straight line ", ensures Chris Banks, of Ford Canada. In spite of these assertions of Ford, separations of tie-rod ends would have already occurred at speeds exceeding the 70 miles per hour that means 110 km/h. It is from certain complaints addressed to the American agency for the road safety indicate, that La Facture obtained the following.

Is a road test possible to keep the control of a vehicle under these conditions? Our team decided to carry out a few tests to check that situation on a sedentary circuit at the motor-racing track of Saint-Eustache, in collaboration with the APA. At the time of the first test, the unhooking of the tie rod is done at 25 km/h. Result: a little more oscillation in control, but the vehicle remains in straight line. It is with the second test that our team found a great surprise. When unhooking is done at 40 km/h, the driver loses the control of the vehicle completely. At this speed, the truck is shaking trough the entire vehicle, the wheel became so crooked that it is impossible to keep going on! "Imagine the reaction of a person who does not expect a similar vibration. It is possible that the person over-corrects, slows down abruptly, with the consequences that it can involve if the vehicle is followed closely by another vehicle, creating an accident ", supposes Pierre-Olivier Milette.

Results are that it scares the owners. Without counting that Gilles Jeannotte and Jean Bouvier are far from being the only ones to have had this
